- Cause advertisement to be put in appropriate media for the patronage of the Academy’s Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards.
- Shortlist proposals submitted for the Academy’s Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
- Select qualified entries and propose assessors for the papers submitted.
- Compile assessor’s reports and select awards winners.
- The present list of awards winners to Council.
- Handle matters on Academy’s Prizes and Awards referred to it by Council.

Publications Committee
- Prepare the criteria for delivering lectures on the Academy’s platform.
- Propose and enforce standards on publications in the name of the Academy.
- Study and edit manuscripts/manuscripts submitted by Fellows and speakers on the Academy’s platform.
- Propose reviewers/editors for manuscripts submitted by Fellows / external speakers.
- To finalize all publications for publishing.

Committee on Membership and Welfare

- Any other policies that an ageing GAAS operating within Ghanaian culture and grappling with issues of how to remain relevant and caring towards its membership would need to put in place.

ICT (Digitization) Committee
- Lead in the acquisition and deployment of technologies to enhance the modern delivery of programmes of GAAS and increase internal efficiency.
- Lead in the upgrade of the ICT resources (human and material) and make them fit for purpose for the work of the Academy.
- Upgrade the GAAS Website and make it functional and up to date with content.
